GO WILD THIS AUTUMN! This month’s Close Knit session will be inspired by animal prints in the Gallery’s collection and fashion more widely. We will be looking at how animal skins have influenced fashion through the years, from the wardrobes of Lauren Bacall to Bet Lynch, and how our attitudes’ have changed towards wearing furs as the impact of campaigns against the practice gained influence.
We will be creating stylised zebra print cuffs using slipped stitches to create a pattern that some might find simpler than other colour-work techniques!
