Knitting Manchester Closer Together

May’s Close Knit session will take place on 25th May at 2-4pm at The Gallery of Costume, Platt Hall, Rusholme. It’ll be lacy!

Lace is the Place 
As spring has sprung it’s time to knit on the lighter side! Drawing inspiration from the collections, and with an eye to the gallery’s Knitted Elegance exhibition, why not come along and learn, or show off your amazing lace knitting techniques. We’ll be working towards making a cute little bag, so if lace is beyond you, don’t worry, there will be a simpler pattern for absolute beginners. Lacy Lucy Burscough will be leading the session with expert advice on hand from herself and our friendly group members.
