Inspired by the Gallery of Costumes stunning collection of garments that are heavily embellished with tassels and ruffles, this months session focuses on Loop Pile Knitting! This interesting and fun technique can be used on a variety of garments to create a chunky, heavily textured fabric, or as a collar or cuff edging. A perfect stitch for those chunky winter knitting projects. Have a go at a variety of samples during the two hour session with knitting tutor Rachael Gwilliam (ArtYarn).
